T-Minus 13 & 12 days!

Ok, so this posting every day thing isn't going so hot. LOL My search for gold ended last night with a loss to the Rand (Chicago) Rink. Dan Laurence from the Rand Rink is also going to the Olympics. We exchanged phone numbers and hope to meet in Vancouver. Still a great weekend at the Arlington Men's Bonspiel. As always great food and conversation.

Was especially nice to sit down and talk with Shelly & Scott (Thud) Kosal and Donnie Henry about their Olympic trip plans. We are all hoping that we get a chance to get together in Vancouver.

Melissa said trip organizing starts today, which composed of cleaning the house, checking the luggage bags, cleaning the dog kennel and for some reason reorganizing our home office. LOL Anyways the days are passing by faster and faster.

P.S. Crazy outfit for the Olympics is almost all assembled.

Day 2, a forgotten post! T-minus 14 days!

Well, Pete Caldwell decided to give me some grief for not posting yesterday. Sorry Pete!

So, day two comprised of curling at the Arlington Men's Bonspiel. We manage to blow a 7-1 lead and lose our first. Curled again @9:15 in Poynette and won. Woohoo! As Bill Ehlert would say.

Needless to say the drinks tasted better after that win. Well, there you go Pete. I will post for saturday later today.

Well, it begins here. I wanted to create a blog so our family and freinds can share our 2010 Olympic vacation with us. So, here it is! What do you think? LOL

Melissa and I have been debating for weeks on what to call our blog. Unable to think of anything creative, I just came up with something unoriginal. Surprising coming from me I know. Regardless its going to be a great time and I am beginning to get a little nervous.

I will try and write something everyday forward until the end of our trip. We are looking forward to your comments and suggestions. Please feel free to write at anytime.

All that being said, our search for gold starts today!
