Seattle Part 1 Rain, Fog & The Space Needle

It seems the weather changes hourly here in Seattle. Despite the rain, we enjoyed our tour of some of the city's hot spots. We started the day with a stop at Top Pot Doughnuts, where we enjoyed our milk and doughnuts while planning our attack.

Our first stop was a visit to the iconic Seattle landmark.....the Space Needle. It was raining and foggy when we first made it onto the viewing deck, but eventually cleared up enough that we could even see some of the mountain ranges in the distance.

After the Space Needle we walked to Pike's Place Market to check out the flying fish. The market is an eclectic collection of stalls featuring jewelry, artwork, handmade goods, produce and of course, fresh seafood. Keith enjoyed watching the Pike Place Fish workers show off their wares.
